At Bhumi Indica we work hard to ensure your pre-seasoned cast iron cookware is packed securely and delivered to your doorstep safely. Because our products are handcrafted and heavy they require specialized protective transit packaging. We partner with India’s leading domestic courier services to provide reliable delivery nationwide.

1. Dispatch Timelines

• All orders are processed and dispatched from our warehouse within 24 to 48 business hours of order placement (excluding Sundays and national holidays).

• If you place an order over the weekend processing will begin on the next official working day.

• In the rare event of a dispatch delay due to stock availability or unexpected supply disruptions our support team will notify you via email or WhatsApp immediately.

2. Delivery Timelines & Zones

While you can view the exact real-time delivery estimate for your specific location using the Pincode Serviceability Widget on our website our standard transit timelines across India are generally structured as follows:

• Metro Cities: 2 to 4 business days.

• Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 4 to 6 business days.

• Remote Regions: 5 to 7 business days.

Please note: These timelines are estimates provided by our logistics partners. Actual delivery times may occasionally be affected by local weather conditions, regional festivals, or transport disruptions.

3. Shipping Charges

• Prepaid Orders: To celebrate your journey toward traditional cooking, we offer 100% Free Standard Shipping on all prepaid orders (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Netbanking) across India. The price you see on the product page includes standard domestic logistics. 

• Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: For orders utilizing the Cash on Delivery method a nominal Cash Handling Fee of ₹99 is automatically applied at checkout. This handling charge is levied to cover the additional administrative fees processed by our delivery partners for cash collection and is completely non-refundable in the event of any returns or cancellations.

4. Order Tracking

The moment your cookware box is handed over to our delivery partner an automated notification containing your Tracking ID and a direct tracking link will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number (via SMS/WhatsApp). Please allow up to 12 hours for the courier partner's server to update and make the tracking link active.

5. Delivery Attempts and Incomplete Addresses

• Our courier partners will attempt to deliver the package up to three (3) times at your specified address before initiating a Return to Origin (RTO) back to our warehouse.

• Customer Responsibility: It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide an accurate, complete shipping address along with an active, reachable mobile number.

• Failed Deliveries: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unreachable phone number or repeated unavailability of the receiver any subsequent attempt to re-ship that product will attract a standard re-shipping fee to cover fresh courier bills.

6. Damaged in Transit

Since cast iron is heavy it can rarely experience severe drops during courier sorting. If your package arrives with visible outer box damage please take a quick photo before opening it. If the inside cookware is structurally damaged please refer directly to our Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy to initiate an immediate free replacement claim within our 48-hour transit window.
