Cast iron cookware is made when molten metal is poured into sand moulds. The base and edges of the cookware is usually heavy by design to make it last for ages and retain its thermal mass which is essential for Indian style cooking.

Your Bhumi Indica cookware comes pre-seasoned and ready to use. Regular or daily use can strengthen the layer of seasoning and your cookware can become naturally non-stick after some time.
